2026 Garden Party

May 7, 6pm, Curtis Hall

Click on the button above to celebrate Spring at the Garden Party 🌷—an evening in support of preserving and enhancing Curtis Arboretum, our shared green space for learning, quiet walks, and community connection. This rain or shine celebration includes:

  • Gourmet hors d’oeuvres from Jeffrey A. Miller Catering
  • Wine, soft drinks, local brews
  • Live dance music by High Brow Hound Dogs
  • New! Professional Photo Portraits Available
For an additional $25 of support for FOCA, sign up to receive a 5×7 fine art print by Lyla Duey Photography, a woman-owned business in Elkins Park.

Kids Welcome. Don’t want to hire a sitter? We will have supervised activities for children ages 3-10. Modest refreshments will be provided. $5 per child, $10 for 2 or more siblings.

Why attend? The main purpose is to gather everyone together in this beautiful space. The basic ticket pays for costs of supplies. Any additional donations are very welcome, and 100% of donations go to park restoration projects. Here are some of the changes made possible by funds raised by last year’s Garden Party:

  • Hoses and more to keep baby trees alive through the historic drought
  • Poison ivy identification for removal throughout the main arboretum
  • More perennials at the entrance gardens
  • New benches in the lower arboretum

Friends of Curtis Arboretum is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
